Sinking Teeth both receedes from the viewer near the center of the piece while also breaking the boundaries of the paper and extending onto the mat behind it, creating an impression of a portal to a whole world drawing you in.
It is a reminder to sink your teeth into life, no matter what it throws at you.
20 x 28 peice is framed with a simple black moulding and plexiglass. Archival quality, primed arches paper was float mounted on the off white mat board after both were painted.
